OK WELL THE TYPE R 15S ARE NOW GONE:crying: NOW IM IN THE BIZ FOR A NEW SUB I HAVE HAD THESE SUBWOOFERS IN THE MEMPHIS 6.05CT BOX AND NOW IM THINKING I MAY WANT TO GO WITH A SINGLE SETUP FOR THE PUPOSE OF WEIGHT AND DURABILITY NOT THAT IM DOWNING THE WEIGHT BUT IF I GO FOR A SINGLE 15 OR A 18 I WANT IT TO BE ALOT LOUDER BUT I WANT THE SUBS TO HAVE i have had my cadence daytona 1600.1 at .5 daily so im open to low impedences but more worried about weight want a custom box Birch, Maple, Walnut whatever one is ligher on the suspension or even back to a mdf or hdf is good with me

A HIGHER Sensitivity rating

sound better then the type r 15's

and still be able to play a wide veriety of music

maybe upgrading my amplifier too thinking of

getting the audioque or the md3d

If you're wanting to lighten the car the worst thing to do is add big ***, heavy, gaudy, chrome rims to it. They will most definitely be heavier then your stock wheels. Now if you mean because the rear of your car sags, that is most likely not from the weight of the subs but because it is time to replace the springs.

what would u suggest as a better subwoofer then the type r's i understand already about the weigh i have that set up already with air shocks and aftermarket coil spring im putting in but i am interested in knowing what subwoofer that you would pic if u had a $500 limit to 1 subwoofer i was thinking about the audioque or acendent audio or even the fi audio i also was looking at the cadence daytona newer style 15
