Jl audio w1

I've got one of these in my trunk with a tma 2-channel amp. Certain types of bass sound good but other strong types of bass cause the woofer to sound very unpleasant. I've tried adjusting the amp but it doesn't help this. I've heard that the JL audio W3 and W6 woofers are better. Would replacing the W1 with a W3 or W6 solve this problem?

The W3 or W6 would be an upgrade, but will your amp provide enough power?

Also, there are other companies besides JL Audio. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Maybe bottoming it out?

Or box?

Or the tracks?

But, yes the W3 is a big upgrade. and the W6 even more so.

If you have the power/money it could help.

First suspects i would look at are sub being over powered or being sent clipped signal.
