I would think the AB 500.1's would be better for the 601-1800 class than the 40.1's. I run the MA Audio HK4000D in the 601-1800 class, but it's a wicked current hog.

You'll never see anyone in America doing 160's with a pair of 10's, not in the Street classes. We don't have the right vehicle's for it here, but in Europe they hit 160's with no problem. in Port wars and Super port wars doing 160's isn't much, but that also depends on the meter being used. I've seen guys using the old AC180 meter and hit 190 db's in Port wars, of course they'd never come remotely close if they were trying it legal.

X2, they have the Panda in Europe, which is a better car. The closest thing we have to a Panda in America is the Yugo, but good luck finding one. The next best would be an 89 CRX, but you'll still never see a 160 in Street classes with a CRX

Sorry, that's just the first time I think the Panda has ever been called a "better car." However, for SPL, it does seem to be the ish over in Europe.
