I saw two 160+db vehicles today

They had a pro class comp today at the heatwave carshow in san antonio, and there were three vehicles that broke 160db. I only saw two of them though.

An old old honda civic with two 15" RD subs each on a memphis 4k hit a 160.3

A chevy silverado ext cab hit a 166.0 with four RE MT 10's in a fiberglass wall. He wouldnt tell anyone what amps he was running though.

A chevy astrovan with US amps and RE audio stickers all over it hit a 163.5, but that happened before i got there. It had four 18" RE MT's in a wall, not sure on what amps he was running.

nope. I wont be with my truck until august due to out-of-state summer jobs, so they'll be for sale when i get back home.

yeah the truck/car was insane. I had never seen anything above around 150db. All i have to say is, the difference between a 151 and a 166 is incredible.

Had to be a Portwars or Superport score. The other 2 scores I can beleive because I know the vehicles your talking about but the 10s doing a 166 like i said has to be Portwars or Superport.

USACi hosted it. all meters were placed on the floor in front of the passenger seat.

thats what i thought! he was pretty hush hush about the whole setup though. I went up to him and tried to ask him about what he had, and the only thing he would tell me was four RE MT's (which was obvious). As for amps, box details, etc, he wouldnt say anything. Didnt let anyone get pictures of the box either, and he had a locking canopy (where im guessing he kept the amps, batt's, etc)

He may very well have had 5 - 7kw or more on each of those MTs - he wouldn't say what amps he was running.
