I never heard of a Panda til I started competing in dB Drags. And I have no clue makes them, or made them. I don't think they're made anymore, same with the Yugo. And as far as SPL in a street class application it's the best car anywhere, or at least they hit the highest Street class numbers in the world.

X2, they have the Panda in Europe, which is a better car. The closest thing we have to a Panda in America is the Yugo, but good luck finding one. The next best would be an 89 CRX, but you'll still never see a 160 in Street classes with a CRX

I friend of mine has one for his daily driver, if you put the Yugo and a Panda side by side they're almost identical. The play the same frequencies too, low 70's.

The Yaris is a good car too, I saw one at a 3X in Niagara Falls in March, don't think they hit as good as a CRX though, the box has to be different because the storage area is smaller.

thats what i thought! he was pretty hush hush about the whole setup though. I went up to him and tried to ask him about what he had, and the only thing he would tell me was four RE MT's (which was obvious). As for amps, box details, etc, he wouldnt say anything. Didnt let anyone get pictures of the box either, and he had a locking canopy (where im guessing he kept the amps, batt's, etc)

Not to sound negative cause it looked like a good show and these guys did some nice scores.

But I saw a video of the truck's run with the 4 10s. It was in Outlaw class where you can put the mic anywhere and he had his driver door open. When I run like that I can do 164s with 3 12s.

I would like to see what he can do in a legal run on the dash. I am curious

Scot Van Riper did a 177ish Outlaw today, of course he does 174db+ sealed legal. That's with only 2 15" woofers
