well what ever the subs are runnin at the amp will run at unless the amp cant handle a 2 ohm or 1 ohm level, all will hold a 4 ohm and 8 ohm and blah blah blah, what subs are u runnin?

Well i'm helpin out a friend and as of right now we're runnin nothing. I need the whole hook up, amp, subs, etc. But i'm plannin on startin with subs then goin from there. Is this how I should go???

you should get a hu first youll need that first, then id say u can get subs and an amp, but your interiors will most likely not beable to sound good at high levels, so u might want new components inside b4 the subs

personly I would prefer two 10" Alpine Type S's heared them the other day I was surprised at the price for the Bass.

im his friend with the car, i just bought http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-g9o1K0r43Y9/ProdView.asp?s=0&c=3&g=52500&I=130DEHP47D&o=m&a=0 that head unit at best buy and had them install it for me...ive been looking at component speakers but im not sure what size to get, its a 95 tahoe...

i play on installing all this with a few friends to save money, so how hard is it to install this kind of stuff?

and if i make my own box does it matter how big i make it or the design i use?
