I have a regular cab chevy colorado. I am looking for some bass behind the seat. I have a maximum mounting depth of 5". I have 925 watts rms @ 2ohms for power and will be building my own box. What I need is suggestions for the best setup for a sql system. Whether it be 4 8's, 2 10's, 2 12's they must be no more than 5 inches deep. My budget is $300 for the subwoofers themselves. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

The new Stereo Integrity BM's would fit your bill quite nicely. Phoenix Gold RSD10's are pretty close if you got a little leeway on your mounting depth (they are 4-7/8" top mount depth.) Image Dynamics ID8's or RE Audio RE8's

Pioneers are pretty sweet... (6) 8" pioneers! We had similar space limitations and came up with this. Under 5 inches depth.

I really like those si bm's. They would work great if they came in a dual 2 ohm version so i could run a pair of them. If i had just a single 12 it would be getting 925rms on a 500rms speaker. I am kind of wanting a sub that is non mainstream. I had a single 12" fi Q in a ported box in my blazer but now I have a regular cab colorado. Is there anyway to get anything that will be close to the same loudness as the Q?
