Yes, 15's should hit lower then 10's.

power acoustik fbx-15, rms-800w. peak-1600w. power acoustik a3000db amp. i have 2 visonik 10's now with i think a 200w amp. my car is a lincoln town car 1989, big *** trunk.

generally with the same power, 15's will be louder than a smaller sub...

Go with the 15's as they should be louder when put in properly designed boxes.
