dude, just talk to the DA and make a deal. tell them you'll plea guilty to part of it if they drop the rest of it. thats how i did it. i had 3 charges, 1 felony and 2 misdemeanors. talked to the DA and said if you drop the felony and one of the misdemeanors, i'll plea guilty to the other. i also had a script for the pills (felony) so that wasnt a factor. at the end of the day, the cop missed court twice and i walk a free man, w/ no fees (court or otherwise).

you plea guilty you will never be able to seal your records...do you really want to check off "convicted" every time you apply for a job or an application to a school?

i'm not tryin to argue, but a lawyer is gonna do the same thing i said above, unless there is some proof or evidence that would sway the judge. anything that would "poke holes" in the DAs case is good for you. what is a lawyer gonna do for you that you cant? he just makes a deal w/ the DA

Like i said though... its pretty much a closed case. I was seen by an undercover making the purchase. Which automatically makes me guilty, no? Thats the reason i was arrested.

exactly. what can a lawyer do to sway that? probably nothing. you're gonna be guilty with or without a lawyer. save the money and go solo. when i told the judge i was representing myself, it seemed like he had a little more respect for me.

Fck no dude, this is AMERICA!! Nobody is ****ing guilty. Grab your balls, get a lawyer and fight that sht. At the very least, have them postpone it for half a year so you can enjoy it!

that $500 might buy you a free ticket outta this thing...thats a cheap price to get this thing done too.
