I need some confirmation on a summer project...

I have 2 12" Kicker Comps and have been lookin for a summer project, so I decided to up by bass effects with a ported box! my trunk dimensions are Width-43 Height-18 and Depth-30 (or Height-15 and Depth-34). The subs require 1.75 ft3 of space each. Im pretty sure the box plan I have will work but I figured I might as well check with you guys before I run off to Home Depot. id tune it lower if it was me, but its not so..

yeah tune lower, it will be loud but not sound good tuned that high.

for daily driving i try not to go over 40hz, 28-32 is my prefference, i thought you were making an spl box.

Thatd be great if I could have some. This is just a daily driver car but I know kids with those $40 pioneers who are hitting harder than mine and I wanted to up the bass. here's what i came up with....

total vol.: 4.75cu' (i gave each sub 2cu' and accounted .25cu' for each sub and .25cu' for the port)

tuning freq.: 34hz

port area: 27sq"

cut sheet

box

-top/bottom: 18" x 36"

-sides: 18" x 13.5"

-back: 36" x 15"

-front: 15" x 17" (x2)

port

-13.5" x 8.75" (x2)



remember, the port walls go inside the front pieces. the 8.75 long pluse the .75 for the thickness of the front equals 9.5 total length.
