u hear me 2 miles away:)
ok i got a ticket this morning. everything started out bad this morning. i woke up late, got in my car and i really had no gas, i mean nothing! i was headed out of my neighborhood when i came around a turn and there was a city cop sitting off to the side of the road faced towards me. i looked down and i was going about 40mph where the speed limit is 25. he then pulled me over and gave me a ticket for speeding. he approached my window and asked for my license. i gave it to him and told him my story and then he went back to his car. he returned with my ticket that read 39mph in a 25 zone. so then i signed it and went on to school. after i got to shcool i started to fully read the ticket. i realized there were a couple thing i didnt understand. first, why didnt he ask me for my registration or insurance card and second, he wrote that my prelude was a 2001, but its a 1992. i dont know if i can challenge it for an invalid ticket but i might call a lawyer and see what he says. another thing that sucks was since it was in my neighborhood, there is a sign that says "$200 fine for speeding" so if i pay it i would have to pay the ticket cost and the $200 fine. so i want to know if u guys think i should challenge this in court since its my first ticket/offense?
any help is highly appreciated
