i need box help

i got 2 5102spl premire woofers and i need som help wit buildin tha box. tha spez. calls 4 a 2cub. box i did that but that sound like crap tha woofer is half tha size tha box. wat u think i need to do?

2.7 cubes tuned at 40 hz per sub the sub alone has .25 cf displacement.

Pioneer Optimized Ported Enclosure

UD-W12 measures 23-3/4" (w) x 15-1/4" (d) x 16-3/8" (h) external size, and it has 3/4" MDF walls. Port is probably tuned reasonably low for a 12, so ~40 Hz sounds good to me. According to rough math, it's around 2.4 cf per woofer.

Using the picture, you can probably guestimate the port area, and make it yourself. If you're lazy, they aren't THAT expensive, for that nice of a woofer.
