To start this off, I'm a newbie when it comes to car audio and I just started doing research into it a few months ago. I'm going to try and make this as simple and clear as possible and hopefully somebody can help me out with this and give me some advice:
I drive a 97 Chevy Lumina, I've already replaced the back two factory speakers with some decent JL's and I plan on buying some good speakers for the front (not sure which kind yet).
I'm also going to be getting 2x 12'' Eclipse SW61248XD's subs from my cousin for free and also a Eclipse EA2000 2/1 Channel Amp with that also that I plan on using.

Now my question is can that amp power both those subs nicely or would that not be enough? It's only a 2 channel amp so from what I understand I don't think it can really power BOTH the subs?
Would I be better off using the amp I already have to just power my front two speakers, then letting my back 2 speakers just run off the head unit, and then go out and buy a new (better) amp for the subs? If so what should I get and would this work?
Any idea on the setup would be nice, right now I'm trying to do research and find the best possible setup with what I already have. I'm willing to buy another amp if needed and maybe spend extra on whatever else would be needed.
Any help would be appreciated!
