I have Brain Damage from Car Audio

Yeah, if you've got all those problems from car audio at 25, then that HAS to be pretty rare. Everyone's brain is different. We all have different "normal" levels of different chemicals and neural activity. If your ears blew up this quickly, then either you had some insane levels of noise or you always had some kind of auditory sensitivity.

Holic's also right; we're all experiencing high levels of noise with long exposure times and it's well documented that these loud noises DO cause damage, from negligible(such a slight amount of damage that we don't even realize anything has happened) to severe, like in OP's case.

Even if he IS a troll, he brought up a very good point. We're all exposing ourselves to possible pain/debilitation later on in life. It is indeed very odd that he's got such acute hearing problems at twenty five, with listening to loud music for only five years. But it happens. I'm going to assume it's not likely for something like this specifically to happen to anybody here if they've had car audio for 10+ years.

OP sounds like someone else I know, convinced their problems are related to something that could possibly make sense, but really the cause is different. A lot of what you listed off as symtoms could come from many and I mean many different things, I'd say it's pretty impossible to narrow it down to car audio. I'd believe you if you had pain in your ears and hearing loss. You may not be a troll but you are whether or not you know it making up the fact that car audio is solely responsible for these problems, and there are numerous treatments for all of these things I want to hear some of the options you are trying.

Guys this is not the Dome. Keep it serious or GTFO.
Perhaps some legitimate scientific proof that this is even possible would help people take this half seriously. Any links to research? Considering lots of people work in noisy environments (factories, concert halls, military/artillary/etc.) you'd think we would have heard of such extreme symptoms before?

I'd venture to guess if someone did indeed have the symptoms described by OP they would not be caused by loud music.
