If your ears blew up this quickly, then either you had some insane levels of noise or you always had some kind of auditory sensitivity.Holic's also right; we're all experiencing high levels of noise with long exposure times and it's well documented that these loud noises DO cause damage, from negligible(such a slight amount of damage that we don't even realize anything has happened) to severe, like in OP's case.</blockquote>
