I have a Dual system nothing special just a XPR540 Dual amp with 2 enclosed 6×9 boxes and 2 10" Dual ported enclosures ran through 4 channels. When I bridge my subs the amp overheats in minutes I have checked my ground made sure I got bigger amp kit then what I originally had and have even changed the speakers to see it the heating problem would go away it hasn't. It's rated best as a 2 ohm system but my subs are rated at 4 ohms with a max output of 600w ×2 and the 6×9s are rated at a max of 200w can anyone help me?
