I dont think he wants to do a wall.Get two DD Z's, wall em and fucking wang away
The idea behind an Isobaric setup is using a pair of drivers, mounted face to face usually, that are coupled to each other by an airspace between them of constant volume such as the space between the cones when mounted facing each other. The effect is that the pair move in unison, mounted face to face it means that you have to wire one out of phase, to act as a single driver with double the moving mass and half the Vas of a single driver. This means that the enclosure requirement is half what it would be for a single driver normally. This means that with 8 subs you could make 4 pairs and those four pairs would perform in the optimal space of a pair of the subs configured normally. You would only get the cone area of 4 subs since each pair acts like a single sub in the way of output. To be honest. Everything you've said helotaxi confuses the fuck out of me. Unless you mean putting 8 subs in the space of 2?
very good info. I've heard of this one other time but didnt know the fine details of how it worked. just always knew there was a reason for wiring subs out of phaseThe idea behind an Isobaric setup is using a pair of drivers, mounted face to face usually, that are coupled to each other by an airspace between them of constant volume such as the space between the cones when mounted facing each other. It does sound like a interesting setup. that something those dboyz don't know about. Hell if it doesnt sound good just step up and get some better twelves and just rock the same box if its still around specs of the subs.No I don't wana do a wall but the iso setup don't sound like a bad idea I might just try that with my 8 if I don't like it ill pull it out dell it and buy 2 ns 15s
get your dimensions of your trunk and figure out how big of a box you can get in there and pm ram_designs, he builds boxes and could definitely design you what you need for a reach around:naughty:Ya Ima let my home boy read this and see how hard a box is gonna be I comin for ya d boys!!!!
