Where and how to mount/tie in Pac TR-4 trigger?

I'm about to add some new devices to my system(Audiocontrol four.1+6xs), and I already had some issues turning on my monoblock, 2 ch, and 4 ch before, so I ordered a Pac tr-4 from sonic. My question is this, what's the best way to wire and mount it? I was thinking i should run the remote outta my h.u. to the back of my jeep on a 18awg, and mount the trigger near the amps and 6xs and dist. from there. The only problem with that is the four.1 needs a "kick" too, and thats up in the front. Splitting the remote wire outta the h.u. is the only thing i can think of. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

It sounds like a relay would take care of your needs. You want a SPDT (Single Pole, Double Throw) relay which you can get from a car parts store. This protects the head unit remote on circuit from being burned out by your devices drawing too much current. It has terminals which are numbered. Ground the relay on 85. Your hot 12v wire goes to 30. The remote turn-on wire from the H/U goes to 86. Your amps and processors all get a remote-on signal off of terminal 87. You could probably return the TR-4.
