$10/hr. is reasonable in some areas. Before I moved up here it was outrageous to find a job that paid more than $7/hr. I moved up here trying to negotiate $13/hr. and my boss got me $17.50/hr. There are 6 of us supported on my income. $3500/month gross goes quick.
