I can't make a decision maybe you can help

I have had 3 hds3 12s in 8cubes net tuned to 35hz powered by 2 skar sk1500d strapped at 1.34ohms for a few months now. I've been saving up and I'm ready to upgrade. I've been goin back and forth on what to do for 2weeks now and figured hey let me ask the community. I'm 100% buying 2 more sk1500s. So I'll have a pair of strapped amps running either 4 hdc3 or 4 hdc4 12s. I was set on the 4s for awhile but now with the price drop on the 3s and the fact that I see more setups on YouTube with hdc3s than 4s I'm back and forth on it. Is it worth spending the extra $600+ on the 4s and do I have the power to push them correctly. I'll be building a box around 10cubes net , I have 2 batteries now and have 2 more goin in. A 1000cca and (3) 775cca. I bought another 3farad cap and will run another run of 0g for a total of 3 runs of wire. I would guess when all said and done each sub should see close to 1900watts since I'll be wiring down to 1.5ohms on each strapped set. I'm ready to get the ball rolling just can't decide... 3s or 4s. What would you do? Thx

I don't have any personal experience with those subs, only the original HDC3's but based off what you're saying I would stick with the HDC3's based off the power you'll have. The advantage you'd gain with HDC4's, if any, is offset by $600 extra you'd spend IMO

Correction* I will be wiring 2 strapped amps down to 1ohm not 1.5ohms. So each sub will be getting around 2200w rms. This according to the dyno testing on YouTube.

They won't see near that with rise on music. Are you looking to compete with SPL burps or daily? You want a flatter response or peaky? Same question honestly

Also not every amp is the same so let's conservatively say 2000rms daily. On music you're looking at 1500 Unclipped after box rise and frequency so if it were me the HDC3's are the obvious choice being $600 less and more than ample in being able to take not only the actual power but the bloated numbers you say they'll experience. Just my opinion though. Not sure if the HDC4 have technology the HDC3 doesn't etc yea know? someone with experience with these subs please tell me

It's my daily driver which I will take to a spl comp. If it ends up being worthy. I know I won't see those number after every factor involved. It was just a number based on the dyno. I know it's not real world numbers.

Anybody else have any experience with the hdc3s and/or hdc4s? Looking for anyone else's 2cents. Thx much
