I think I'm going to do my rack with plexiglass and aluminum rods similar to your idea. I like your idea of using all thread. I can just put my own threads on the aluminum rod ends and keep the smooth look. Do you have your DSP hooked up and running?Got the fabric to cover the board. I have decided to mount it to the enclosure with L brackets leaving a gap between the sub-box and amp board. It actually looks good in concept. This mounting option still allows for access to the controls on each amp and I will be able to hide wires and cables. I will use rubber O rings at each and every screw point including under each amp and the DSP.
Not yet. I have to track down some 4 conductor wire today for the 3" and tweeters. I have the twisted speaker wires for the midbass here. I want to mount everything then run wires. I may add a second battery to the trunk as well.I think I'm going to do my rack with plexiglass and aluminum rods similar to your idea. I like your idea of using all thread. Looks good!Ok, I covered the amp rack in a dark grey material then mocked it up with the amps and dsp.
Man.. Just take your time. Rushing generally creates issues. We get busy with life in general, work, and family, and tend to forget things. It happens to all of us, LOL. Im the worst now days. I forget where i set my keys down alot of times. Not sure what I was doing but I mounted the amps and DSP to the board and was gonna go install stuff today. Apparently I did not have RCA cables. I ordered a 6ft set and two 4ft sets. So I guess the amp rack will wait a bit more.
