So let me ask (Since i've never worked on one of these). Is it a 12v system? How do you run a HU off of it? I've got a 1yr old nephew I would love to do something like this for.

is all that running off of the stock battery? im getting my daughter a car like this one for xmas and want to do the same. trying to find out exactly how its done.

Yes it is ran off the stock battery. They come with a long life AGM battery that so far last a **** long time. But there is plenty of room with very little modification to add another of battery up front which is what I plan on doing if I come into any problems. I should have a video up this weekend once I get the new head unit. right now its all being powered off a 7" double din touch screen that I dont want him to mess up so im buying the dual mechless radio for 40 bucks

I bought a pink Barbie power wheels Jeep a few months ago at a yard sale and fixed it up for my nephew. It's flat black/dove grey two tone with black wheels now. It's badass...

These little things are pretty neat builds. I remember getting one when I was a kid and only had it for like a week. I was watching my dad work on his truck one day so I thought I needed to do the same thing in the garage while he was at work one day. They told me I had the thing in a hundred peices... Needless to say it never ran again... I think my kid will have one of these *if I have any* one day

Only thing I wish i could do to it that is a little too expensive would be a pair of JL 6.5" subs to replace these pierce 6.5s
