Hows my type-r setup

The dimensions of the ports are: 16 inches deep, 1.33 inches wide, and 13 inches long.

i had to take the subs out because one wasnt hooked up anyway, as the seller told me.

3.6ft^3 tuned to 43Hz.

port should be 15.5" tall if the box is 17" and it's made out of 0.75" mdf.

port air velocity is probably gonna be close to double what winisd recommends to avoid port noise.

conclusion, box is a bit too small, tuned way too high for normal use, and the ports are too thin, so you'll probably get port noise, especially if you go to more power in the future.

I would really recommend it. If you're satisfied with how it sounds in that enclosure, you will be blown away with how they can sound in a proper enclosure.

what would you recommend as far as a box, i was thinking 4.5 @ 30...

but what is wrong with the tuning of my box? im listening to rap only, should i go for something in the low 30 range?

4-4.5, depeding on power. Tune 30-35 for dd, IMO

I know there is a seperate forum for such things, but arre these good plans?

Also, is there a guide you could point me to about putting it together, I know my dad has most of the tools needed, and me and him could do but neither of us have ever built a box.
