I know what guage speaker wire im suppose to use for my system but is speaker wire just speaker wire????.....would i notice a difference in sq with name brand speaker wire oppose to a generic brand?

Doubt it. What you looking at? RCA's would make a bigger difference I would guess than speaker wire.

Speaker wire will make absolutley no difference.

Walmart has schose (sp?) wire, 18 guage 40 foot rolls for 7 dollars. I went and stocked up, bout 120 feet worth.

I LOVE knukonceptz, but in speaker wire cases, i think its a waste of money. Anything else is worth buying good quality, but not speaker wire.

most systems don't require 8 guage for speaker wire, so if you don't need it then it's a waste of money

RCA quality will matter to a certatin degree. Build quality of the teminals, and the amount of shielding. Too much shielding is not nessisary, but you can tell if RCA's dont have enough shielding as well.
