How true do you guys believe this statement to be?

this guy is saying that 2 DDZ subs will hit 180+ on the TL' date=' if that is the case wouldnt they have the WR, and not team pioneer for their 180.4. [/quote']
...alan dante's volvo did higher than that with ONE DDZ //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Dude the DDZ is a fn beast. But hitting numbers that high is all about box design and pulling out every trick in the book to gain decibels. Dante even said himself, the biggest factor in his score was the box. But its been discussed umpteenmillion **** times along with channeling the pressure to the meter.

It depends on what you consider SPL to make the statement about spl and daily not mixing. Obviously theres not gonna be daily drivers doing 170-180. But there are tons of daily drivers doing 140-160's and I still consider that SPL.... 150 + is pretty friggen loud. IMO daily and spl do mix, but its gonna be harder to hit high numbers on a daily tuning. My plans are to just keep several box designs ready. Im going to build several for testing anyways so.

And honestly theres a few subs thatll take 20-25k burps for short bursts.. depends on how long of a burp youre talking about too. Every extra second adds heat and stress.
