how to wire two batts in the rear

I have 2 big batts on the way...with 280 ahs combined between the two...when you mount your batts in your trunk do you wire em all in parallell? or series? im pretty sure its parallell cause series would lead to a 24 volt system and would start burnin shit up...also is 4 guage welding cable good to hook up and ground both my batts in the rear? how big of a fuse shud i put between the two?? thanks

I would use 0 gauge, 300a fuse. All you have to do is connect all the + and - together.

this question gets asked over and over and i dont really get why...

anyways, use 1/0 wire, i would even use 2 runs of 1/0. wire in parallel.
