power loss

i have a audiopipe 1500.1ohm amp and two pioneer premier 12's 3500watts.....and a ferenhiet touch screen dvd ....system is all solid works great hits hard but i will loose power and subs will cut out but come back on....i put in a 270.00 interstate battery as well the yellow top one for car audio....i heard chevy tahoes have too small of a groun from battery to frame...is this true...do i have to put a thicker ground to frame...it looks like a 4 guage

one of the best and cheapest upgrades you can do and recommended for everyone small or large system is the big 3
