How to set it up...

I actualy own 2 poweracoustik FUBR 12" and its intalled in a sealed box at one feet "cubic". i juste wanna know if my sealed box was a good idea.

i also wounder about a ported box and how it will sound.

its powered by a pa2-1600 by poweracoustik, is that possible to do something good with that ?.

second, my front and rear speakers are from cerwinvega, front are Vega 2525 componen kit and for the rear its the IT - 683 the emplifier for those is the sp4x-600.

in fact, its my first sound system and i only want to learn more about HOW to set it to its best. at now it look like it : http://membres.lycos.fr/ramza1/subs.JPG i want to know what are the possibilities ?

Well, they say sealed is better SQ.. and more power handling.. bigger gives you better low end..

ported gives you more SPL at a specific (tuned) freq... requires larger boxes..

Other than the wires hanging all over (and having a cap //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif ) it looks good to me (for a first system).. not sure about the amps or anything.. but I'd say you are doing ok //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

héhé thx but its not finished yet. but where can i learn how to make a ported box for my subs ?
