how to set gains help

Ok i just finished my box today so the amps and sub is going in tomorrow hopefully if i dont eat too much turkey. I kno you have to have the 50hz tone for the sub amp to set gain but isnt their a chart to match voltage too and all that stuff?

is the Same tone used for mids/highs amp?

i kno this is a noob question but im just confused.....thanks in advance.

I followed the diagram and my sub wasn't loud at all, so I ended up turning it up more anyway. Do that at your own risk.

Mids/highs I just did the listen for distortion method, but I'm sure someone will come in and say I was doing it wrong.

I always wondered if just using music was ok, but never heard of anybody doing it that way.

I set gains by ear,its very accurate but you still have to know what you are doing.Use absolutely NO bass boost and adjust gains to about quarter way and adjust filters accordingly,see how it sounds and go from there.
