How to set amplifier sound settings (gain) etc?

Hi,

I have a JVC amplifier, 4-CHANNEL KS-AX204 (JVC Mobile Entertainment \ 4-Channel Amplifier - KS-AX204 \ Introduction). I'm not too sure how to set the sound so it sounds better, like with the gain etc. How can I have a nice sounds with a little more bass? The only tweaks i can give my amplifier is voltage? Please see photo below;

Match the input sensitivity to the head units' pre-out voltage.

What's your setup?

You can have more bass by setting a low pass filter in the rear or front depending on your tastes.
