decided on 4 total. 1 for the alt to bat, 1 for bat to distro, and 1 for each amp. going to fuse each amp at their fuse rating, fuse the bat to distro @ 250, and fuse the alt to bat @300.

anyone have a good place to buy 2 weatherproof 0ga inline fuse holders that come with fuses and 2 inline 4 ga fuse holders that come with fuses?

So you are going to run 0 ga wiring from the distro blocks to the amp with a 50 amp fuse???

im running 4ga from the distro to the amps and i figured someone would tell me to fuse for the 250-300 amps the wire is rated for. lol

Matt

so i should fuse the 0ga at 300 and the 4ga at 250 amps instead of dropping the value down to what the amps are fused for?

Should be good to go without those fuses. Read the manual that comes with the new stereo. If it doesn’t say to add additional fuses, don’t.

It would be cheaper, it might be easier to find a place to mount it, and you would have a ton of options if you just do two, 3 slot fuse holders...

My bad, yes, I read them each as having two 4ohm coils. The JBL diagram left a bit to be desired, IMO. ;) And a double yes, thought U was talking...
