how old school is this little amp ?

it's a shelf-part "chip-amp" early-mid 90's not really the same design/line as the one in the other thread, but i'm pretty sure it should do rated just fine. the conventional transformer used to be used a lot, just nothing higher power, ans they create electrical field noise at high power, where as a toroid does not.

 
lol, i actually have an old targa "340watt" 2ch, that is almost the same as the one in the other thread...... and it's slated to be cannibalized for the heat-sink.
