One of my friends has a F-150 and he will be making the cutout from his bed to the cabin for his sound system. His daily driver will be 4 15"'s and when he goes into competition, he says he'll upgrade to 8 15"s. The box for the 4 15"s will be firing up in a vented box (vents also firing up), each sub will get 100 in^2 port area and my question is can we just use one port with 400 in^2 port area or do we have to separate the subs in separate chambers and make each port separate for each sub?? Also-when you're looking at the rear of the F-150, what would be the better route to go, firing the port up at the rear of the F-150 or firing the port up closer to the cabin?? Thanks for all responses.
