How many ohms is this circuit?

Bought subs from my friend, he has them wired like this

There is nothing wrong with that wiring at all guys. It is a full 16 Ohm load is all.....just a high resistance. it is wired properly for a 16 ohm load, yes. But to get the most out of those, since they are dual 4s, is to do it in series/parallel yes, which would give you the 4 ohm load at the least, as both have shown.

 
^^^ this, although, if your amp is 1ohm stable, I would say go with that and see how you like it. Unless your going for SQ, I bet you will be happier with 1 ohm than 4 ohms
