how many of you guys do this?

My stock battery was originally located under the back seat, but now I have relocated it to the trunk along with a yellow top. So yes I do run my grounds to the batteries. Had to run my Big 3 Alt+ the length of the car though.
lol that stinks

I would run individual wires to the battery and then 1 or 2 runs of 1/0 gauge back to the front batts negative from the rear's negative

Having some busbars on the batteries will help a good bit

I always found it easier to make a good ground in the back
Easier. Yes. Better...no //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Why is that? Is it easier on electric? I'm all ears playa

so a run from the front battery to my first battery in the rear. then from that battery to the next, next and to the last battery. then from that battery to my amps? lol

and should i get a busbar or can i just put a ring terminal on it and connect it to the battery? cuz thats how most people connect to the kinetik batts

Ive always just run the ground from the amp (I only have one) to the chassis. I always learned to make the ground as short as possible.

What is the advantage of running the ground back to the front to the battery?

how is that gangsta? ha
gangster....just cuz it is...wish i had that lol but then again i cant support too much weight in the rear //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Indeed, just do the math thinking it through...your chassis ground goes through crappy old metal, welds, and tooons of other connections...a run or two of 1/0 gauge will be a way better connection.

You should spread the connections for your amps across the batteries imo, but it wont really matter which battery you connect to.

And what you could do is connect all of the batteries with two pieces of copper and have mounting points for connections on the bars...this is how I have it setup and it is very convenient having the mounting points rather than taking battery terminals off to take the wires off/on for the amps, and a solid copper connection between batteries = teh *** //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

So, you'd basically have one big positive and one big negative terminal for all of your batts in the back //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

okay so like the nine.1 ground off battery #2 and the nine.4 off battery #4?

and where can i get a busbar to connect all these small batteries?? i have 4 of them....i need some pics or something cuz im a little lost on the busbar idea
