how many of you run your ground from the front battery neg terminal to the trunk and use it as your overall ground....?

also if i do this is it a good idea to run it straight to the trunk to another neg. terminal on one battery then to the next battery (4 batteries total) then from the neg on that last battery to my amp or should they have seperate grounds? i dont want to do 2 runs from the front...so what are my options? best options..please

i have four hc600 batts in the trunk....and a nine.1 and nine.4

wait break this down to dumb terms
Just view that run to your front batt's negative as your car's chassis and run all negatives to it (it'd be best to have a busbar setup to run everything to in the back and then from that busbar go back to your front batt's negative)

Yes, I do that with 4 runs back to the front for grounding...and you would ground everything in the rear of the car to the run(s) going to the front batt's negative
so all the batteries are grounded to the run from the front then off the last battery it can go to a distro block then from the block to the amps?

Yes, I shouldve said that it'd be best to run your amp(s) directly off of your rear batt(s) terminals and then make a run from your rear batt(s) negative to your front batt's negative...that would be the best way to go

My stock battery was originally located under the back seat, but now I have relocated it to the trunk along with a yellow top. So yes I do run my grounds to the batteries. Had to run my Big 3 Alt+ the length of the car though.

lol awesome...and is it a good idea for a distro block for the ground or just run two different wires from the last battery to each amp?
