Man, your "noise pollution" tickets are awfully cheap. Around here if you get ticketed, the first time is $250, and then it's doubled every time after that (500 the second, 1000 the third....for you mathematically challenged people).

I can say that I've never been stopped or ticketed for my stereo, and more than likely never will be.

Some of you are talking all big and bad about how you've never been ticketed and/or never will be. All I have to say is that is a function of where you live, not your ability to "boom responsibly." For the average person the highway is about the only place they can listen to their stereo's even at moderate levels. Anywhere else is a ticket waiting to happen, its just a matter of wrong time, wrong place, wrong cop.

And don't turn your stereo's down in residential areas because its the law. Turn them down because its just plain RUDE not to.
