hello i was wondering in my trunk, i have 1 12 in brahma and i am going for ultimate SQ. how many layers of dynamat extreme should i do on the the floor and on the sides?

i would go ahead and put one layer on and then listen to it and see how it sounds. if its not quite good enough, i'd go ahead and put another layer on, but i probably wouldnt put more than 3 layers on...

well on the floor i allready have 2 layers of extreme one layer of peal and seal

I'd do 2 tops b4 it'll b holding heat. also, a new trunk seal helped me a lot since the weather is changing overnight, everynight

more then two layers is a waste of cash, unless you plan on doing serious competion db drag, but if you want to waste the money peel up the first layer and get it professionally sprayed in then ad a peel and stick layer , that what i had to do to my car to kill the road noise and keep the sound in

you can use rhino lyning like the spray in truck bed stuff, it works good and cost probley 100 bucks, but youll have to completley gut the area to be sprayed, dynomat and stinger have the spray too, but its basically the same stuff , but they charge more for there brands
