How many cubes guys?

Ok, just got my 15' ava...

Its going to be going in a custom SEALED box in the back of my 92 camaro (hatch back)

Its going to be getting 1,200 rms from the ed NINe.1, just curious, how many cubes should i ask the guy to give me on this box, also do you think i should throw some polyfill or something in there, mainly listen to rock / etc music... I heard these things like small spaces, 2.5 - 2.0 cubes.. what do you all suggest?

Nah

The .707 enclosure is 2.2 cubes net (after driver displacement) with polyfill

so you would want 2.35 cubes and lightly stuffed with polyfill

or about 3 cubes and no polyfill

same thing either way

i would be VERY careful sending it 1200 watts in a box that is 2.2 cubes... my buddys got his ava15 in 2.2 sealed at the moment off of a power acoustik a1800db (rated 1400 x 1 @ 1) and ive got the gain set fairly low and it can still move VERY far, be careful or youll end up ruining the sub.

i gave my avalanche 15 in exactly 2.2 cubes 1600RMS (one ohm to a RE 35.1d) and it had no problems. Sounded awesome.
