for a 12 im pretty sure something in the neighborhood of 2.5 cubes and tuned to like 38 or so, but thats only if memory serves me correctly.... i could be wrong

seriously though, I have my HDC3 15 in a 4.25 cube box tuned to 38hz

For 12 bout 2~2.5cf

right, but if you want the lows also i would suggest 35 hz...i went from 38 to 35 and its just as loud but the lows pound with soooo much more authority.....even makes my nuts tingle
