I have two IA 40.1's and im going to be running them strapped to two 12" dd9512g's I have 3 batteries and a stock Alt for now... How low of voltage is to low??? Does anyone know at what voltage these amps will shutdown at?

Actually I have 4 batteries if you count the one under the hood...

i have ran my kicker amp at 7 volts on a battery that is only 7 volts hahaah j/k

I think draw is around 400a at full tilt 1ohm. Maybe a lil more

I still say those subs will never take that for daily full tilt, and they'll burp .25 just fine.

And to the battery bandit, yes in a perfect world we should all have 4 300amp alts if we have a high draw. But 90% of us have 1 alt an not over 200amp, so 99% of the time the alt will shut off when it can't put out the draw required and amps run all off batt power, so sayin batts are just a bandaid is silly. Its actually the life support for most of us

I had stock alt, and single 4ga run , runnin a 500.1 @ .5 ohm and itd go to 11.5 with 2 dekas , go figure
