How Low is to Low for voltage?

I have two IA 40.1's and im going to be running them strapped to two 12" dd9512g's I have 3 batteries and a stock Alt for now... How low of voltage is to low??? Does anyone know at what voltage these amps will shutdown at?

i would not drop below 12 volts...they can probably handle a bit lower for short amounts of time but i would not risk it

Why?

Because I can......LOL I am saving for a MECHman ALt but until then this is what I got....

Also im going to get the ALT with adjustable voltage... I think it can go up to like 17 or 18 volts.... Well my batteries are stinger spv70's and they say they can handle up to 15volts.. So my question is that if I adjust my voltage to lets say 16Volts for burps will I be ok or will the batteries fail on me?

lol x2. i wouldnt let it go below 11.5 EVER. try to keep it above 12.

Anything below 11 is prolly not top good if you're contuning to play it while seeing low 11s

I'd be more worried about the subs takin that power than amps really

I always have it around 13. I'd say turn it off if lower than 12 like bones suggested

The subs are dual 2ohm so I will be running the amps strapped at 2 ohms..... Does anyone know if these amps would be able to handle a .5 ohm burp while they are strapped... I know each amp would be seeing .25 ohms but im sure it would be a lil higher with box rise... I would also roll in with the volume

I know that my HHR's computer system goes at if the voltage goes below 9 but i have never got that low before.

All zenon built amps are capable of doing that for short periods of time. Not for daily though.

You low voltage may be due to having three batteries. have you tried only using one battery?
