How do you guys with BIG systems tolerate it

I should also note that I have a small system, so it's fine on my ears most of the time.
There are times once in a while where it's just a bit much though, rarely, but once in a while. I like how my sub hits down to 30 hz for where it peaks though. Ftw.
just think what will happen when you get an actual car audio amp in there

yeah, i have a great story about my new build. the frist day of having my 4 15s in i was driving down a road being loud as ****. This chick in another lane rolls down her window, gives me the figer and then throws a 1/2 full pop can @ my car. Yes it did hit my car LOL
I just love the looks that people give when Im driving down the road with my shirt/hair blowing around and empty styrofoam cups levitating in the cabin.

They are all like "WTF HAX!!!!". //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

My current system is plenty loud enough for me.

I think it would be fun to blast around with bigger subs, but i cant stand it after a few tracks with my setup.

Each sub is only getting 150w each.

I currently have my amp bridged for for a theoretical output of 120rms x 2 at 4 ohms. Im using my factory wiring though so it is a bit less.

I havnt installed my mli-65s yet. Im still running with my infinity mids.

how do guys with less than 148's tolerate it ?
Not everyone wants/needs to be that loud. I'm much louder then 148 with my daily set up and play it at low/moderate volumes 99% of the time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

It would be nice, I would admit... This thing's a beast though, and it sounds good. I'm getting an internship, which with the increased pay, will open up possibilities a bit..

I have 2 10's in a hatch and at 3/4 I can only take maybe 2 songs and its mild compared to what some of you guys have..4 12's,,2 15's or 18's **** If used for competing I understand but daily use how? Even with my mild setup after 10 minutes at full tilt I have a headache.
Because they think that the feeling they get in there ears is cool and vibrating everything in sight is as well. They will learn when they have to get hearing aids or worse no hearing.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I think it is pointless "oh I love bass" ya so do I when i can understand everything else in the song as well and not be anoyed with the bass either.

real men tickle their balls with midbass drivers, not subs.
Sorry JB but real men tickle their balls with sexy females //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Not everyone has 10 inches............in their doors //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

how loud is a pair of top fuel dragsters running down the track? Those will definately hurt your ears, you can feel the entire ground shake as they pass.

I would love to see a measurement taken of just exactly how loud that is from about 10 ft. away. (any closer and you'd be torched by the exhaust)
