How do you guys get 1/0 gauge wire into amps?

The guy I'm talking about got a added a line driver and "Y" adapter to his Rca's I believe to sum and boost the signal,  and from what I understand it worked, what you got could be weak signal... what deck do you have?

Just spitballing here... but something ain't right
Okay,

that might make sense. Since I had to split the RCAs.

Explanation - head unit is a pioneer AVH-211EX

The deck only has two pre-amp outputs, so,, I had to split the RCAs from the four channel amp to the monoblock

Ok I'm the guy with the line driver yes it worked very well I had it hooked up to a Sony xav-ax100 and it was putting out less than 2 volts from the rca preouts what I recommend highly is the pac ld-10 it's only like 15 20 bucks and it works amazingly well. I turned up the pac ld 10 to about 75 percent up on both sides and i only had to turn the amp up maybe a quarter of the way up before it started clipping and the subs were 1k rms a piece I really like this amp it's a beast of an amp and it definitely puts out what it says. Also for the reducers I recommended these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01MA1SJ83?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title. I tried 3 before them and these are only ones that fits seems that the taramps hd 3000 or MD line just have smaller inputs and will only take a few reducers.
I may just have an extra PAC.

Now I am thinking it’s the RCA setup

Will this work?

Personally man if It was me I would upgrade to a better radio with a better rca setup if you're splitting the rcas your sub amp is most definitely going to see less voltage. Look at the atoto a6 pro if you like customization. This radio is awesome I recommend it over a pioneer /sony radio any day of the week. People are going to say oh it's a Android head unit, it's trash. I'm telling you from experience it's a really good radio because I have it I tested the rcas on it and there putting out more than 4v each preout. And it's cheap af it's like 250 bucks for a full android radio with nice preouts it has the front, rear, and sub rcas. You could even look into getting the pioneer avh-2300nex it's a decent radio with Android auto, Apple carplay, 4v preouts and alot of audio eq options.

Idk if that will help... you got a 2V HU correct?

I've ran into amps that like big signal before... just sayin'
I took the splice out and ran one of the cables direct. Boom, it hits good.  However, I do notice some of the lower bass lines in songs not picking up.

Ya adding any other connectors, splitters, converting adapters to signal send will always reduce the original signal being sent in some way.  Plust if you are only using one of the jacks (mono) then you are basically splitting that in half to begin with. Any other settings on the Deck or amp off? Crossover?

To adequately produce the sound that a 3000 watt amp is capable of producing, at least 1/0 gauge power cables, 16 gauge main speaker wires, and 12 gauge subwoofer wires are required.

Got everything installed and running. It's definitely dragging my idle down a bit, I may bump my idle speed up a few hundred Rpm until the voltage...
