How do I set my Amp's settings? (Level/Low boost/filter)

You guys said I should adjust the Level and LPF based on my Headunit.

Here are its Specifications, but I dont know whats what. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif So according to these specs, what should i set level and LPF too?

Edit: Also, i heard you should turn up your subwoofer setting All the way up on the headunit, is this only for tuning, or is it always suppose to stay maxed out?
