How do I hook up amp to factory head unit?

I have an 09 Mitsubishi Lancer with the factory head unit installed and was wondering if there was a way to hook up my amp without an LOC (Line Out Convertor). I have only ever worked with aftermarket head units that come pre-fit with low level audio jacks in RCA form. I plan to keep the factory head unit for a while at least and I miss my subs.

Ull need a LOC

which allows you to then run rca's to your amp.

If the amp you are hooking up has a high level input then you could use that (basically a built in LOC)
