How do I deaden a door that looks like this....

I thought this was gunna be an easy install too. Is there any links, videos, or tutorials on how to build the door up? I'm more of a visual type person.

Here's a picture of another malibu that went with 5 1/4". I am going this route except I'm making my baffle and adapter plate out of one piece of MDF. Should I deaden around it...possibly seal around the baffle?

If at all possible I wouldn't use MDF. As wide open as those doors look, there is probably going to be some moisture in there. your 3/4" mdf will be about 1.25-1.5" thick in a month. Birch works well, I have been on a hdpe baffle kick lately. Thanks...Birtch it is lol Will I hear any improvement if I just deaden the outer skin, use wood baffle, and deaden the little outter panel that I have?
