Hooking up a 2Ohm Sub -help

Ok so sounding like an idiot asking this i was wondering how when ya got ur sub, you have a positive 'n a neg. on one side and the same on another side of the sub. so do you have to hook both up to 2 sets of speaker wire? or can u jus hook one side up? help

each pairs of + and - go to one coil

yes, you have to hook them both up. look in wiring.
