I'm trying to design a box for my SW8200 subwoofer. I was wondering how much volume the subwoofer displaces so I can account for that in the size of my enclosure.

That sub needs from .9 to 1.25 cuft.

I already know what they recommend, and I already know its way too small for the linear motor. Nowhere in the manual is driver displacement noted, nor have I been able to find it.

Does anyone know the driver displacement of the SW8200 ? I'm aiming for 6 cubes net for 2 8200's.

them specs they give you, have the woofer displacement added in to it. how do you know the box specs are too small for the woofer?

Wow, did not realize its a 12. I would do .12ish.

no low end, now high end and a huge peak between 50 and 60hz.
