High quality music setup

Yeah, buying CDs and ripping them into FLAC or ALAC files might be what I end up doing. I wonder if there are still used CD stores around lol. I don't want to use WAV because it does not contain the song data. I think I still have 100 or so CDs somewhere, I have not used them in probably 10 years.
Try playing them on your PC using WMP, it may be able to pull song data off the net and when you rip them, I think that should preserve.

pay for music, show support //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif as a Dj, i can say that often times it seems to sound better, maybe cause you pay?(sarcasm)
I do that with beatport sometimes when I need normalized leveled music to play with tractor pro at parties. Its high quality and the volume gains are not all over the place, easier to mix tracks. Torrented files cant match it since it was produced for DJs.

or if u can get a hold of an android phone, sign up for google play music, they are all 320kbps and download musicmate and whatever u add to ur library u can download the files to ur phone then move to ur computer and then when done cancel the subscription, i am still trying different ways to figure out how to rip Tidal Hifi flac files.

You do realize that the WAV file specification does not have an info tag area. What applications that do put it in the file, is not standard between programs and moving your music between programs might not show the tags added where it is not defined in the file format specifications.

For Google Play music - Unless you know how to add the headers back into the file, the ones you downloaded are useless once your subscription expires. That is unless you purchased them, those are yours to do what you want with.

Have you used the Music Mate app yet for what you are implying it does?

I have not used torrent for anything in many years. My cable company busted me for downloading and sharing movies and I get banned if I get caught again, I could not handle losing my fast internet lol.
Use a VPN and your problems are solved forever. I use Private Internet Access (PIA) which is like $7 a month or $40 a year and I've not had an issue with it for years.

wow wtf is your cable company smoking lol. Never had a problem with either att or time warner.
Don't ever pirate on ATT without the proper VPN. ATT has the most advanced pirate detection algorithm on the market. TIme Warner doesn't give a **** honestly haha. It's who I use.

Even with all my drives (that add up to 8TB) space fills up fast. But I have been ripping DVD's for a media server doesn't help much either lol
ANd how the hell do you have 8TB in music/movies? I don't even have 2TB in 200+ movies, 20+ TV Shows (seasons), 10,000+ songs, and 50ish games installed from Steam...

Interesting - it does not say it does that in the app description

"Formerly known as Cloud Music Importer. Send us your order number for that app from Google Wallet and the email address of the Google account used to purchase it, then we'll transfer your license to this app.

Import 50 songs for free. Import unlimited songs with the in-app purchase of an unlock key.

It's your music; play it however you want.

This app is for use with the Google Play Music™ app and service. You must have the Google Play Music app installed and setup for this app to work properly. Make sure you have the latest version too.

This app will allow you to download your music directly from the cloud and import it into your local device library so you can play it in ANY media player installed on your device.

There are plenty of other music players in the market that are better than the Google Play Music player. Many also integrate with AM/FM stations and internet radio. Now you can play your cloud based Google Play Music media in those players too.

Main Features:

- Can be used instead of the Google Play Music app to access your music.

- Artwork tagging is native. No need for remote queries or yet another app to find the artwork.

- Automatically discovers all sdcards. Saves to the external card by default. (PRE KITKAT ONLY!)

- Music is instantly made known to the device. No need to reboot or unmount/remount sdcards for the device to discover it.

Why you need this app:

Keep your music in the cloud, instead of on your device. Then download whatever music you want to listen to and play it in ANY player - can't do that with the Google Play Music app."

edit - Link to Music Mate

U really think they are going advertise ripping off Google music and post in the app store

Also u need a lucky patcher To patch the app to remove the 50 download limit too

It does work though, it removes the restriction of the music files
